About the role
The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and launching new products and creating and implementing a successful strategic direction. You will own and drive media plans and activations with specific focus within the digital space and will liase closely with sales, supply chain and management teams.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
- Setting of strategy, style guides, brand vision and value propositions for both short and long term
- Lead new and existing product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities
- Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding
- Advertising and promotional budget management
- Stock management
- Competitor and customer insight analysis
- Analysis of sales forecasts and relevant financials
- Reporting of product sales
Full time in office role based in Warriewood on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
About you
- Degree qualified in a relevant marketing or business related discipline
- Minimum 2 years Marketing experience within the FMCG space
- Minimum 1-2 years as an Assistant Brand Manager or similar
- Demonstrated cross functional collaboration experience
- Excellent organisation and project management skills, must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Solid communication and rapport building skills
- Must be able to demonstrate strong experience of NPD process, particularly project management
- Experience in managing budgets and forecasting
- Proven experience in development and execution of marketing and advertising strategies and product launches
- Experience and involvement with trade shows and all it entails
- A self-starter - must be able to work autonomously and have the drive to grow both portfolios - always looking for and identifying opportunties
- Must be passionate about your portfolio
- A 'can do attitude' with the ability to 'think outside the box' - to differentiate your brand from competitors
- Sound PC skills and intermediate skills in Microsoft applications
