EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN FOR CENTRE DIRECTOR!
We are currently seeking a passionate Centre Director to join our BRAND NEW CENTRE located in Essendon North.
We wish to hear from candidates who display strong work ethic, a high level of written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
What you would be doing:
- Developing and implementing the educational programs and achieving quality learning outcomes,
- Using a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance individual children’s abilities,
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment,
- Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families, carers and other team members,
- Keeping records of children’s progress, routines and interests,
- Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices.
Candidate Requirements:
- Current Working with Children’s Check,
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma certificates,
- 2 years’ experience working within an early childhood setting (recommended),
- Ability to follow and give direction,
- Proven experience in a similar role,
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.
A demonstrated understanding of:
- National Quality Framework (NQF),
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF),
- Child Protection & Safe Standards Training,
- Workplace Health & Safety issues,
- The ability to form warm and responsive relationships with children,
- Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
