Remuneration: $109 945.46 - $113 556.22 per annum

The Breast Care Nurse works as part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist, evidence based practice and quality care for women and men with breast cancer. Promoting a standardised approach to the provision of supportive care in treatment across a range of acute care and community health settings.
If you have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and at least 3 years’ full time equivalent clinical experience in providing care for women and men with breast cancer; with a post graduate qualification in a specialty related to Breast Cancer
- Ability to apply advanced clinical expertise in relation to clinical nursing practice and independently make decisions that support good patient care outcomes
- Evidence of clinical leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework to plan, deliver and coordinate patient care
- Experience in the primary case management of clients across the continuum of care (inpatient and community services), evidenced through advanced knowledge, skills and high level problem solving ability, in providing care to clients with breast cancer who have complex care needs.
