Based in our Boundary Road Brewery at Papakura, this is your opportunity to be hands on across all aspects of crafting beer! From malt handling, wort production, fermentation and beer filtration, you couldn't get closer to the action.
Part of broader brewing team, you'll work on a rotating shift roster with a mix of days, afternoons and nights.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Operating the Brewhouse to produce high quality wort
- Cellar work involving fermented beer movements and fermentation management
- Filtration of beer
- Chemical and gas analysis of finished beer with basic quality control checks
We're looking for people passionate about beer and with a great team work ethic. You'll also need to be comfortable with shift work, able to work well both on your own and in team environments and be fit to work in the factory environment.
Sound like you? Other key things we're looking for include:
- Previous beverage or FMCG experience and/or manufacturing process experience (any liquids)
- A qualification in Brewing and/or Science would be advantageous although not required
- Computer literacy and confidence working with numbers
