Job Overview

The Broker Support Officer has the responsibility of supporting new and existing brokers with general enquiries, scenario support, submission and settling of Asset Finance loans. You will be a key point of contact for other stakeholders, including lenders and business partners. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound enquiries 
• Providing scenario advice to brokers on finance applications
• Assessment of Asset Finance applications
• Submission of loan applications to lenders
• Settling and complying with loan applications
• Ensure all broker enquiries are followed up promptly and professionally
• Support lenders and other business partners with their enquiries and requests 
• Support business development managers and the wider operations team
• Drive customer acquisition and retention through superior customer service
• Identify and escalate any potential risk issues

Requirements

• Knowledge of Asset Finance lending
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to identify the needs of our business partners 
• Problem-solving skills 
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent computer literacy, especially in Office 365 including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. 
• Knowledge of finance broking compliance requirements is highly desirable 
• Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly in an Asset Finance aggregation business, is preferred but not required.
