Job Overview
The Broker Support Officer has the responsibility of supporting new and existing brokers with general enquiries, scenario support, submission and settling of Asset Finance loans. You will be a key point of contact for other stakeholders, including lenders and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound enquiries
- Providing scenario advice to brokers on finance applications
- Assessment of Asset Finance applications
- Submission of loan applications to lenders
- Settling and complying with loan applications
- Ensure all broker enquiries are followed up promptly and professionally
- Support lenders and other business partners with their enquiries and requests
- Support business development managers and the wider operations team
- Drive customer acquisition and retention through superior customer service
- Identify and escalate any potential risk issues
Requirements
- Knowledge of Asset Finance lending
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify the needs of our business partners
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent computer literacy, especially in Office 365 including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledge of finance broking compliance requirements is highly desirable
- Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly in an Asset Finance aggregation business, is preferred but not required.
