The Role:

We are seeking three (3) experienced and motivated individuals to oversee Ability Options’ buildings and assets for their allocated area in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will have strong management and organisational skills, responsible for conducting regular inspections, arranging property repairs, maintenance, planned works including capital projects to protect and improve the properties and assets. 

Hours: Permanent Full-time, 38 hours per week

Location: 1x Sydney, 1x Charlestown and 1x Coffs Harbour NSW  

Salary: $77,000 per annum + super and $15,900 in salary packaging

Reporting to: Manager - Property, Assets and Administration

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Develop and maintain systems to ensure effective scheduling and management of the repairs and maintenance required on all building, facilities and other assets.
• Assist operations with planning and actioning of property related items for participants transitions within accommodation properties.
• Manage building services contracts, lease agreement and assist with fleet-related matters. This includes any upcoming property lease expires.
• Facilitate planning and execution of participants moving in and vacating activities in properties.
• Have exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and responsiveness at all times.
• Accurate reporting, documentation and administrative tasks related to Building and Facilities management.

You will be required to travel to within assigned portfolio to conduct property inspections, inspect projects and other ad hoc site visits as required.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in all aspects of property maintenance and a commitment to deliver reliable, efficient and seamless services to the business.
• Property management, facilities management, construction, or relevant industries experience.
• Knowledge of Commercial and Residential property leasing transactions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong Administrative and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise task and work under pressure.
• Current Driver Licence (Minimum P2)
• Willingness to undertake a Police Check.
