About the role:

The position is responsible for development application assessment against legislative requirements in an efficient, effective and timely manner.

The Building Assessment Officer will assist the Senior Building Officer with compliance inspections and enforcement relating to unauthorised building work.

A key focus is also delivering excellent customer experience practices when interacting with the public regarding building development enquiries.

An ideal position for a candidate with qualifications aligned to the role or an enthusiastic motivated person who is currently undertaking the required study to fulfill the role criteria.
