Council has an opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Building Asset Specialist to join our Strategic Asset Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management and maintenance of our Council's Building Assets.
Responsibilities
Asset Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive asset management plans for all council-owned buildings.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to monitor the condition of assets.
- Maintain up-to-date records of Building Assets, including their conditions, maintenance histories, and valuations.
Capital Projects:
- Development of asset capital works programs for council-owned buildings.
- Assist in the planning and execution of capital improvement projects.
Compliance and Safety:
- Assess all Building Assets comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with internal departments, community groups, and external contractors.
- Provide expert advice on asset management to council members and senior management.
- Facilitate community consultations and feedback sessions regarding Building Assets.
Qualifications
- Qualifications in Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in Building Asset management or facilities management.
- Strong understanding of asset management principles and practices.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive total remuneration between $107,426.31 to $123,540.25 gross per annum + Super (+ CLA + Leaseback Vehicle /or Car Allowance).
