BUILDING CONSULTANT - FULL TIME
We are currently looking for a Building Consultant based in the Central Coast area to join our team. Reporting to the Building Consultancy Services Manager this role will see you provide sound decision making and preparation for upcoming work in relation to a diverse range of services predominately around forensic building inspections for insurance claims and/or defect inspections for home warranty claims. You will have an inquisitive mind and be a problem solver and and not to mention opportunities for job progression and diversification exist.
What are my accountabilities?
- Time management and recording
- Compiling and formatting forensic building reports and scopes of work.
- Defect identification and reporting
- Compliance with agreed processes
- Compliance to client and internal claim handling requirements and timeframes
- Accurate and detailed recording of data whilst on site
Ideally you will possess:
- Cert III Carpentry
- Cert IV Building & Construction
- Licensed Builder
- 10+ years industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Sound knowledge of the insurance industry (claims lifecycle) including the legislative framework, applicable codes and products.
- Any experience in Construction/Project Management is also welcomed.
