Morse Building Construction is seeking an experienced and qualified Building Consultants to join our staff on a contracted basis. Each member of our team is carefully selected for their specific knowledge and experience within the building and construction industry.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Complete site inspections
- Write up detailed causation reports and scope of works
- Complete structural drawings and designs if requested
- Provide clear and accurate professional reporting on loss & damage, remediation, quantification, etc.
- Follow instructions from insurers and assessors
- Work to meet KPIs
- Work from your solid knowledge of the engineering field
Experience & qualifications:
- Demonstrated prior experience as a Building Consultant
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Broad industry knowledge
- Current and valid licence or legislative requirements for your current state
- Certificates of currency for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong computer skills
Role details:
The position is non-PAYG, and not full-time
Best suited to professionals looking to supplement their own workflow with an intermittent and flexible work schedule
All work will completed on a consulting basis, with remuneration via split fees + expenses.
