We are Lockhart Drafting & Design, a locally owned Building Design business based in Toowoomba. We specialise in creating bespoke home designs to reflect our client's personality and lifestyle, and pride ourselves on our high quality designs and service.
About You
Lockhart Drafting & Design are seeking a self motivated, enthusiastic Building Designer to assist in delivering quality, creative designs. This position involves working on exciting new and renovation residential projects from preliminary plans through to full structural plans for building certification and construction.
Your job role will require you to meet new clients in the Toowoomba office or on-site at the clients building site for renovation projects. You will create designs for our Lockhart clients that fulfil the design brief and budget within a timely manner and with the uttermost precision. We have a unique design process to ensure each of our clients get the highest level of care which you will be required to take on board.
We are a tight-knit team, who have a great ‘coffee culture’. We are looking for someone who has an upbeat and positive nature, who complements our team. You will be need to be self-motivated and share the same desire to go above and beyond for our clients as our team at Lockhart Design do. A sharp eye for detail and working efficiently is a must!
To be successful you must have:
- Professional personal presentation
- QBCC Building Design Licence
- Proficient in Revit
- Able to showcase previous project portfolio
- ABN or willing to obtain
- An exceptional eye for detail
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Be competent in modern technology and computing skills
- Have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Have an outgoing and friendly disposition
- Highly efficient and possess demonstrated organisational skills
- A can-do attitude and sense of humour a must!
