Building Inspector's - Bca Audits

The Company:
An award -winning Sydney Building Consultant, who builds small to large scale projects all over Sydney and Sydney Metro, from Public works, Multi-Storey offices to major Commercial projects, they pride themselves for their finer finish and envied reputation amongst competitors in the same space.
The Roles: Recently they have picked up a medley of interesting mixed multi storey office and residential dwellings projects, and have been approached by Randstad to recruit budding building inspectors / Leading hands, for urgent contract roles leading to a possible permanent appointment based on performance, initiative and drive.
Reporting directly to the allocated Manager you will be responsible for helping the daily inspection audits.
Visual inspections of Council’s buildings to record and quantify building elements utilising an iPad and applying condition ratings of 1-5:

• Building structure and fabric
• Interior finishes and fixtures
• Building Services
• Building Compliance checklist (yes / no against various BCA questions)
• Building Functionality checklist (provide score of 1-5 against various questions)
• Photos of main building elevations, major plant, defects and non-compliances

Requirements:

• You will be trade or tertiary qualified in Carpentry / Joinery or have a construction management /diploma qualification.
• Experience complying with WHS
• 2 years experience working for a building contractor, consultant or government agency.
• High communication skills and attention to detail
• Full driver’s licence.
