- Carry out and supervise Building Maintenance and repair works to The City's assets.
About the role
As an Inspector Building Maintenance, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Building Supervisor.
The successful candidate will see themselves organising and programming day-to-day maintenance and repair work of the City's general buildings and associated plant and equipment, including obtaining quotes and preparing design layouts; liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that work is performed in accordance with specifications and requirements; supervising sites as required to ensure all works are carried out safely with minimum disruption, and conducting regular condition assessments to identify any urgent repairs.
About you?
- Trade qualifications in Building or Building Maintenance and relevant industry experience
- Ability to supervise and lead a successful team
- Sound experience in building construction work, in a practical "hands on" capacity
- General knowledge of commercial air conditioning operations, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and electronic security systems.
