About the Role: Join Owner Inspection to provide high-level consultancy services across various building projects in Sydney. You’ll address complex building challenges, offering solutions that impact client satisfaction directly.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations into building defects, damage, or failures within diverse properties.
- Deliver concise, actionable reports and recommendations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision.
- Communicate effectively with our team, solicitors, other experts, and participate in conclaves and court hearings as required.
- Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects to ensure integrated problem-solving.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the building or construction industry.
- At least 2 years of experience as an expert witness or in building defect investigator.
- Completed at least 10 expert witness inspections and reports.
- Advanced analytical skills for complex case management.
- Exceptional communication skills, crucial for interactions with clients and legal professionals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
- Knowledge and experience attending tribunal/court hearings as an expert witness are advantageous.
