The Position
As the Onsite Building Manager / Caretaker you will be responsible for ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards as part of the asset management team. You will:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all residents
- Coordinate contractors as required
- Coordinate and conduct general repairs, cleaning and maintenance
- Conduct leasing activities/inspections for rooms and carparking facilities
- Complete periodic maintenance performance reporting.
- Identify and ensure all defects are resolved within agreed time frames.
- Handle out of hours emergency maintenance.
- Monitor cleaning of common areas and garden maintenance of property grounds
- Proven experience in a similar caretaking or building management role
- Demonstrated experience managing legislative, preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance.
- Trade qualification (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders including residents, contractors and body corporate.
