Myer is currently looking for a Building Services Manager who will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all Support Office Business and Facility Requirements. You will be required to maintain the building and assets at an inspirational level to support Myer. When required, you will also be assisting the Building Services Logistics Specialist with the co-ordination and distribution of postal services and shipments to/from Myer SSO between Myer Stores, Distribution Centres, Domestic & International MSAL, Suppliers/Couriers & Stakeholders.
About the Role:
- Financial Management including accrual management and invoice processing to achieve financial targets
- Management and coordination of all Support Office business and facility requirements
- Respond to all queries via Building Services inbox in a timely manner (includes defect period)
- Raising/follow up on all jobs through the SNAP portal and Oracle portal as required
- Facilitate onsite contractors, including but not limited to: Booking loading dock, Myer induction process, checking required documentation is provided eg; SWMS/SDS Hot works, Chemicals being used.
- Maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Manage office and operational efficiencies including access card/APP process, meeting room management, ordering and distributing of office consumables, inspection of furniture and general maintenance requirements.
- Provide a safe environment; must be a Trained First Aider and Floor Warden for the site
- Manage changing health and safety requirements within Support Office, including but not limited to COVID19
- Support the function of the ‘Building Services Logistics Specialist’
About You:
- 2 years+ similar experience within a large corporate environment
- Experience in Property or Operational Management is advantageous
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisation skills
- Strong ability to build relationships with various stakeholders i
- Understanding operational requirements of Retail and Merchandise
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines
- Basic Microsoft Office skills i.e. Excel, Word
- Good knowledge of Supply Chain & logistics is beneficial
