We have a strong brand in the local community and work primarily on Land Management Projects. All profits are reinvested into the organisation to assist in delivery of Muru Mittigar's purpose.
Muru Mittigar means 'Pathway to Friends' in the Dharug language.

- Improve the economic and social capacity of Aboriginal people.
- Empower meaningful participation to enhance their role as Traditional Owners of the Country.
About the role
The role of the Bush Regenerator, is to work in a team delivering conservation and land management projects on various natural environments in Western Sydney.
The position requires a good fitness level and suitability to undertake various heavy work requirements within the role such as brush cutting woody weeds, bending, lifting, standing and working in areas of thick bushland.
Bush regeneration works will include but not limited to:
- Brush cutting.
- Tree planting.
- Weed removal and control.
- Herbicide application.
- Rubbish removal.
- Seed Collection (when required).
- Use of small plant and equipment.
- Watering (when required).
- Mulching (when required).
- Working with school groups (when required).
Skills and experience
The following attributes are essential:
- A interest in the Natural Environment.
- At least 2 years relevant experience.
- Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
- General construction induction card (white card).
- AQF3 Chemical Application Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with children's check (or willingness to obtain).
- Class C Drivers License and own transport.
- A willingness and ability to listen and follow instructions.
- Applicant would need to be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved.
- A willingness to undertake a medical assessment.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
