AddressCity of Newcastle has an opportunity for an experienced Bushfire Management Specialist to join our Environment and Sustainability team to support the delivery of the objectives within the Newcastle Bush Fire Management Plan.
As the Bushfire Management Specialist, you will provide technical and practical advice to internal and external stakeholders to develop, review and implement policies, strategies, plans of management and on ground annual works programs to achieve best practice bush fire management and meet council's legislative requirements.
You will play a pivotal part in the implementation of regular reviews and updates to the Bush Fire Prone mapping and reporting on Bushfire management activities.

Remuneration: $111,827.80 + 11.5% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week.
The above rates are reflective of the Salary System Pay Rates in the CN 2023 Enterprise Agreement.
