About the Role…
This role will report into the Business Manager and offer administrative support for the Self Employment Assistance contract. What might this look like you may ask?
- Work collaboratively with candidates, mentors and the SEA team to support them with relevant matters related to the SEA program
- Entering data into Government ESS database and other systems as required
- Accurate administration of databases and other system requirements
- Creating and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems to ensure efficient access, data integrity, movement and security of files
- Data analysis and report writing to improve and develop business processes
- Intake and onboarding of participants providing accurate program information, eligibility, and enrolment advice
- Manage inbound customer service calls and initiate quality customer service outbound calls with a set timeframe where deemed necessary
- Assist in the development and improvement of effective processes that contribute to the delivery of exceptional service to the SEA candidates
- Liaising with Host Organisations and Employment Services Providers
The successful applicant will be offered a full-time fixed term contract until 30 June 2025 with potential for extension, based out of a Sheridan Street office.

A bit about you...
- Must be comfortable working within tight timeframes
- Experience resolving problems using judgement when responding to issues and discerning when issues should be escalated
- Proven Administration and Customer Service skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
- Ability to effectively use technology in the workplace
- Mature and well developed skills in communicating with clients via phone and email (including the ability to negotiate positive outcomes)
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
- Open drivers licence
- A background in small business, bookkeeping or marketing is preferred but not essential
