The position involves the carrying out of administration, customer service and general duties for both the Laurieton United Services Club (LUSC) and the Kew County Club (KCC). PLUS study while you work! Receive a Certificate 3 in Business Administration at the completion of your traineeship.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful applicant will report directly to the Finance Manager.
The position involves the carrying out of administration, customer service and general duties for both the Laurieton United Services Club (LUSC) and the Kew County Club (KCC).
The role is a full time position. (38 hours a week) Hours are 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.
Duties include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
• Completion of Day Work/Banking on Monday and Friday: a) Preparation of safe balance amount. b) Preparation of Banking for Mondays & Fridays. c) Filing of day work. d) Data entry for Poker Machines and preparation/completion of daily gaming reports. e) Update daybook, Keno, TAB Spreadsheet.
• Maintenance of Members Register including (for LUSC and KCC): a) Processing of new members applications. b) Processing membership detail changes.
• Preparation of monthly new members Board Report.
• Receipting of membership subscriptions.
• Attending to customer enquiries at Reception and by telephone/email.
• Collection, opening and distribution of inward mail.
• Completion of clerical duties including typing, filing, mailing, ordering of stationary and any other duties as required at LUSC.
