- We will offer you an above Award rate of pay, $23.87 per hour (12% above Award).
- You’ll secure full time employment for two (2) years as part of your traineeship, with the potential for ongoing employment at the completion of your studies.
- We will provide you with ongoing mentoring throughout your traineeship, from an experienced and supportive team, and paid study time each week.
- You’ll obtain a nationally recognised qualification, Certificate IV in Business (Business Administration).
Your new role:
As our new Business Administration Trainee, you will work towards obtaining a Certificate IV in Business (Business Administration) along with providing day to day administrative support to the business to ensure our administration and accounting processes are completed to a high standard. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Completing general administrative tasks such as typing, data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Assisting with payroll and accounts payable/receivable processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Learning from experienced members within the team.
About you:
While industry qualifications are important, we also look for the right person with the right values to fit our team. We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in working in the aged care sector and a desire to pursue a career in administration.
- Is willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Business (Business Administration).
- Might bring some existing customer service or administration experience.
- Has a strong attention to detail and the ability to work within a team.

With almost 40 years of experience, we are a registered charity dedicated to ensuring elderly people in the region receive the care they deserve. Our services include at-home care for around 300 clients through Forrest Community Services, as well as residential aged care at Loreto Home of Compassion (76 residents), Mary Potter Nursing Home (70 residents), and The Forrest Centre Hospice (10 residents).
