Business Administration Trainee – Operations Support

Council has an opportunity to appoint a maximum-term full time Business Administration Trainee to contribute to Council’s success. This traineeship opportunity is for a 12 month period to undertake a Certificate III Business Administration and is based at the Lyons Street Depot. The employment contract will commence on Monday 20 January 2025.
About the Opportunity
The Operations Administration team is responsible for providing support to the Roads, Water, Waste and Parks Program Work Delivery units within Operations.
We provide a range of support from handling Customer Service Requests, uploading documents to Council's Filing Management Software, attending meetings and meeting minute taking, booking travel and accommodation for those we support, creating reports, receipting goods, and reconciling invoices and credit cards. As a Trainee in Operations Admin, you will have the opportunity to connect and work with a large variety of both indoor and outdoor workers, you will be provided training on all of the above tasks as well as Microsoft Software Suites.
At the end of your traineeship, you will have knowledge of our Customer Service Software, Financial system, Geocortex and GRC's Filing Management System.
