About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is passionate about agile solutions to join our Digital team at Officeworks for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in eliciting and analyzing requirements, defining customer-focused solutions, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with Officeworks' objectives. You will be working collaboratively with product owners, technical team members, and other stakeholders across the organisation to help deliver solutions that address customer and business needs. As Business Analyst, you will be engaged and responsible for the initial stage of solution design to the successful delivery of projects. The Digital Team works in a hybrid arrangement, 2 days a week from our Chadstone Support Office.
Some responsibilities include:
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to elicit high-level and detailed project requirements.
- Define project requirements in a standardized format, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Monitor project progress, track activities, and resolve issues, championing continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with key resources to validate criteria before deploying solutions to production.
- Demonstrate a proactive "get it done" attitude, influencing outcomes and negotiating with stakeholders.
About you
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or above in IT, Business, eCommerce, or a related discipline.
- Business Analysis Certification (e.g. CBAP, PBA or similar)
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in product delivery.
- Experience with agile project methodologies.
- Experience in an agency or digital team is advantageous.
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistent delivery.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to influence outcomes and negotiate with stakeholders.
Technology Proficiency:
- JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with Google/Adobe Analytics, Mural/Miro, or similar process documentation tools.
