Hills is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to bridge the gap between our business needs and technology solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, validate, and analyse critical information from business and technical stakeholders, presenting findings meaningfully.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and project goals.
- Translate technical language into business language and vice versa to facilitate effective communication.
- Identify business problems and opportunities for improvement.
- Propose solutions that align with business objectives and help achieve organizational goals.
- Investigate opportunities for process improvement in areas of complexity or to relieve business process pain points.
- Recommend and design process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Assist in defining the business case for new initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.
- Contribute to strategic planning by identifying trends, competitive positioning, and potential areas for growth.
- Identify issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
- Produce high-quality documentation such as business, functional, non-functional, and transitional requirements, processes, use cases, test cases, dashboards, and reporting.
- Manage requirements gathering, business process planning/mapping, prioritization, process analysis, coordination, and Quality Assurance (QA) testing.
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout operations, systems, projects, and product lifecycles.
- Manage tasks autonomously or as part of a project team, achieving objectives with limited supervision and within specified timeframes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT Management, Computer Science, or a related field (beneficial).
- Certification as a Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), ScrumMaster (CSM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) (beneficial).
- Quality Assurance (QA) Testing Certification and ITIL & ITSM Framework training (beneficial).
- 5+ years of experience in a BA role.
- Excellent reporting and communication skills.
