My client is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing care at all stages of life and circumstance.

Your new role

They are looking for a Business Analyst with a focus on process improvement to join their team and help them optimise their business operations. You will be responsible for documenting the current issues and processes, developing requirements, and designing future processes that align with our business goals and strategies.

Improving the phone queuing system for one of their key departments is the objective of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse and document the current business processes and issues using various tools and techniques, such as flowcharts, diagrams, interviews, surveys, etc.
• Identify and prioritise the areas for improvement and propose solutions that address the root causes of the problems and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes
• Develop clear and concise requirements and specifications for the proposed solutions and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders, such as developers, testers, managers, etc.
• Design and model future processes using best practices and standards
• Validate and verify the solutions and ensure that they meet the requirements and expectations of the users and the business
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and outcomes of the implemented solutions and provide feedback and recommendations for further improvement.

What do your need to succeed?

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the health sector
• Proficient in process modelling and documentation tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
