AddressBarto Gold Mining is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, one active underground mine, two active open pits, with new mines starting in 2024 as part of the companies 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000oz/pa by 2028.

About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our busy finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Business by providing comprehensive financial reporting, cost accounting services, and strategic insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by providing insightful analysis and recommendations
- Delivery financial reporting and cost accounting function through data collation and timely reporting
- Providing detailed management reports and cost analysis to internal stakeholders to enable effective review and understanding of operating costs and underlying cost drivers.
- Providing accounting services to the Site Business Unit ensuring statutory requirements are met
- Preparing End of Month Journals, Reconciliation and review
- Providing support to the stakeholders on system,
- Preparing annual budget, quarter forecasts with the respective business units for operational cost and capital cost.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 - 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Management Accountant
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- Completed CPA, CA or equivalents
- Proficiency in SAP (S4 HANA Fiori) - advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices, modelling mythologies, regulatory reporting standards and business planning/analysis.
- Working knowledge of budget framework and integrated financial systems
- Strong Attention to details and time management
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Right to work in Australia.
- Ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation in the resolution of financial issues
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote, and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality
- A team player
- Mining industry experience - desirable.
