About the role
Join our dynamic Regulatory Change Projects team, where innovation meets financial markets expertise!
As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a crucial role in implementing regulatory initiatives within Markets. We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in financial markets, derivatives regulatory reporting and Murex to collaborate with our team of project, business, and technology specialists. Together, we will drive transformative changes to our existing platforms.
Your responsibilities will encompass a spectrum of tasks, from analyzing and synthesizing Regulatory Reporting requirements to facilitating seamless communication with key stakeholders. You will be at the forefront of eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and benefits.
As a hands-on Senior Business Analyst, you will leverage your practical market knowledge across various asset classes, such as Credit, Rates, FX, and Commodities. Acting as the interface between our global front office business team and technology project teams, you will spearhead the day-to-day operations of projects, providing regular updates and support to ensure project success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing requirements based on regulatory obligations
- Managing requirements throughout project initiatives
- Balancing business and customer outcomes with risk considerations in product and service delivery
- Assisting with BAU transition and change implementation activities as required
- Cultivating and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Anticipating and responding to evolving customer needs through strategic project communications
- Validating requirements with customers and project teams to ensure solution alignment
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Contributing to continuous improvement of project and governance processes
- Mentoring and leading junior Business Analysts through technical and business knowledge sharing

What will you bring?
To excel in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Experience with Derivatives Regulatory Reporting (Dodd Frank, MIFID II etc)
- Strong familiarity with Markets systems (Murex) and operations, including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, and clearing
- Extensive knowledge of business analysis tasks and project management lifecycles
- Expertise in Derivatives Financial Instruments and regulatory reporting, including FX, Commodities, and Rates Derivatives
- Resilience, interpersonal finesse, and collaboration skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in documentation, communication, and analysis of complex issues
