Reporting to the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. The Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for internal and external data reporting, work collaboratively with other subject matter experts in data, analytics to identify, deliver and improve BHN’s data sets, analytic tool sets, analysis and visualisations. This role will also provide administrative application support for TrakCare.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will provide expertise and technical knowledge of BHN’s data and systems
- Use their in-depth knowledge of data management analytics to improve BHN’s data quality including clinical data.
- Collaborating with BHN’s teams responsible for software and specifications.
- Influencing the ongoing improvement of the BHN’s data quality tools
- Converting data into usable information that is easy to understand.
- Communicating analytic insights to stakeholders.
- Undertake research, analysis, integration, and evaluation of data in the BHN’s systems within relevant legislative and policy frameworks.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Technology or other relevant field.
- Proven ability to interpret and analyze large complex data sources with minimal corrections and effective use of analytic techniques.
- Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Experience working within Health, Aged Care, or Disability services, is desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, visualisation, reporting and automation tools including Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Power Automate.
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems creatively.
