Form of workLarge ASX listed client are looking for a Business Analyst to join them and assist with a large finance transformation project for 6 months initially (highly likely to extend).
As a Business Analyst, you will be the mediator between the finance team and the wider business, and you'll be tasked with understanding the current processes and collaboratively enhancing these processes.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders and business users to map the current state of the ERP system
- Mapping and enhancing key financial processes, including half/year end external reporting, month end close & equity accounting
- Write functional and non-functional specifications as well as future state process maps.
- Partner with the vendor to understand the system and order processing capability.
- Uphold a strong governance and project framework.
About you:
- Previous experience working on finance transformation programs.
- CA or CPA qualification is preferred.
- End to end BA skills and tools including strong process mapping capability.
- Experience with coordinating and communicating with primarily Finance/accounting team members
- High attention to detail and a drive to deliver high-quality delivery
