About the Role:
Business Analyst - 12 month fixed term - Melbourne based
AGL employs cutting-edge technology to proactively meet and exceed customer needs, gaining a competitive edge. Our data, decision-making, and marketing automation tech, along with streamlined delivery, enable seamless customer interactions, resulting in enhanced outcomes.
The Marketing Delivery teams focus on planning, prioritizing, developing, and operating an enterprise-scale Customer Engagement Engine (CEE) for meaningful conversations with customers at scale. The Business Analyst is responsible for end-to-end analysis and shaping initiatives, including scrum master duties.
What you'll be doing:
The Business Analyst oversees end-to-end campaign management, ensuring a customer-centric approach while enhancing team efficiency and delivering value for the organization. This role serves as the main link between stakeholders and two delivery teams, ensuring clear requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation. Additionally, the role reports indirectly to the Business Delivery Lead for Value Optimization and Emerging Products to support their deliverables.
- Facilitate workshops with various stakeholders to identify and manage impacts.
- Drive discussions with stakeholders to define initiative objectives and requirements.
- Collaborate with the Business Delivery Lead and Campaign owners to determine a balanced minimum viable product.
- Ensure process integrity across multiple systems and business units.
- Capture detailed requirements using acceptance criteria scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure a quality end-product.
- Identify, manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Maintain lean documentation for all functionality delivered.
- Lead Analysis and Shaping activities for all campaigns.
- Act as the scrum master and oversee team rituals (Stand ups, Retros, Kick-offs, etc).
About you:
- Previous demonstrated experience working in delivery or a similar environment in a similar role and working alongside a scrum team.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience documenting complex requirements and defining, maintaining and updating process documents for best practice.
- High attention to detail and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance for all direct marketing active associated with customer data
- Sql knowledge preferred but not a mandatory requirement.
- Understanding of PEGA, ADOBE and other similar platforms, and its functions is desirable
