The role:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Analyse, evaluate, and review business processes and recommend optimal technological solutions to clients.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including process maps, data flows, and user manuals.
- Assist clients with the implementation of chosen software systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making and drive business growth.
- Proactively identify risks and issues, and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
- Provide training and support to end users to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
- Administer and monitor SQL Server databases.
- Create views using SQL programming language for dashboard reporting and data migration purposes.
- Build PowerBI live dashboards for business-wide KPI measurement, workflow, and financial reporting as agreed by senior management.
- Design and build SharePoint intranets for firm-wide use, from reporting to Human Resources processes and policies.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret and present findings effectively.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
