Job Overview:
They are seeking an experienced Business Analysis Manager/ Lead Business Analyst to lead a team of skilled Business Analysts. This pivotal role involves not only managing and mentoring the BA team but also driving the uplift of the BA community and supporting complex delivery programs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the financial markets industry and a proven track record in business analysis and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Oversee resource demands, training, and professional development of the BA team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Champion the uplift of the BA community within the organisation, promoting best practices and continuous improvement and working with existing BA Managers within the business.
- Organize and lead workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing events to enhance the skills and capabilities of the BA community.
- Advocate for the value of business analysis in achieving organizational goals and objectives.
- Support and drive complex delivery programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Utilise advanced business analysis techniques to identify and address challenges, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality business requirements documentation and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for the BA function.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the BA team remains at the forefront of best practices.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to the continuous evolution of the BA practice within the organisation.
Qualifications/Must Haves:
- Extensive experience in business analysis within the financial markets industry.
- Proven track record of leading and managing a team of Business Analysts.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of complex digital programs.
- 10+ years of dedicated business analysis experience working on Agile and Waterfall projects
- Experience across the full SDLC from early ideation to execution and embedment in BAU.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Solid experience in business process modelling using software such as MS Visio or other enterprise-endorsed platforms.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
