The Client:
Clicks IT is proud to be working with a large, Queensland government department that provides critical safety infrastructure.
They have reached a critical milestone across a number of projects and are looking for a Business Analyst to join their project team.
In this role, you will work with the Project Manager, Business Application owners and Information Technology owners to document current state process, analyse business pain points and develop an optimised future state process.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an effective working relationship with other staff to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of organisational objectives
- Provide high quality and timely business advice internally and externally, including guidance and reporting to the Program Leads and Project Managers.
- Conduct process mapping, including as-is and to-be analysis and development.
- Provide analysis and insight of the transformation complexities, identify gaps, risks and issues
- Undertake solution design, estimation and specification activities
Key Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Previous experience working on projects delivering mobile device rollout, security gateway implementation, or similar
- Varied experience across the government and commercial sector
- Experienced in documenting requirements from user to functional/nonfunctional level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with both ICT and business senior executives.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving.
The Offer:
- Initial 12 month contract + 2 x 12 month extensions
- $900.00 per day - negotiable
- Office based in Carseldine
- Hybrid work arrangement - mix of WFH and Office | 50/50 split
- Large, multi-year program of work.
