Business Analyst – Port Macquarie

Our client is a global knowledge practice that provides consulting, technology, engineering, operating and innovation services to leading organisations. They work with customers to deliver sustainable and lasting improvements to their efficiency and performance, adding value to their bottom line.

Due to increased work, they are looking to hire a number of Business Analysts for initial 4 month contracts with possible extensions likely. This is a great opportunity to work a diverse range of interesting projects around process re-engineering and improving the efficiency of customer service.

About the Role

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with senior stakeholders, core business units and project teams to elicit information, define requirements, provide the business analysis and outline solutions and business project initiatives.

You will define and communicate the key requirements, principles and models that describe the business process and practices – current and future state, to enable evolution where appropriate and support continuous improvement.

Your ability to be resourceful, think conceptually, proactively form professional relationships with executives, managers, subject matter experts and end users is critical to the success of these projects. You will actively engage with end users and stakeholders in clearly documenting, base lining and tracking requirements through to implementation and user training.

The successful candidate can anticipate working in an environment where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged to ensure optimum performance and outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required

• Tertiary qualifications in IT and certification in Business Analysis or Project management would be highly regarded
• 2-5 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish and maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and technical individuals at all levels
