Business Data Analyst

Harvey Norman Online is a key division to drive online/offline sales by constantly measuring and optimising online customer experience. This division closely work with business / marketing / IT / digital agencies to develop and execute strategic online optimisation plan.

About the Role
The Harvey Norman Online Marketplace team is seeking a dedicated Business Data Analyst to join the Data Analyst team located in Homebush West.

Reporting to the 2IC, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in measuring all aspects of online business and monitor business performance via KPI tracking
• Provide internal and external business stakeholders with visibility of key business metrics
• Monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data.
• Develop and distribute regular and on-demand reporting
• Ensure data integrity and quality prior to submission to stakeholders
• Investigate and identify opportunities to grow and improve business processes

About you

• Strong skills on MS Excel and Power BI reporting (R script/DAX). This covers aggregating data, analysing data and design the best visualisation in reporting.
• Working knowledge of SQL query and relational database
• Familiarity with Python
• Great passion to embrace and breath data
• Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
• Problem-solving attitude with demonstrated ability to perform, make fast decisions and succeed under pressure.
• Basic understanding about retail business operation
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with all business teams
• Relevant degree in marketing/business administration/statistics/IT
• Minimum 2 years’ experience on similar role
