We are now seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Business Analyst - Finance Transformation / Automation to join our dynamic team.
About the role
We are expanding our Finance (Digital) Transformation practice and would like to hear from technical consulting professionals who can provide functional leadership of our customer automation engagements.
The successful candidate/s will act as trusted advisor to clients embarking on the Finance Transformation / Automation journey. The role is customer facing and will be responsible for leading engagements from Process Discovery, Design through to Implementation. The role will identify opportunities for cost takeout, capacity uplift and other potential benefits.
This role is pivotal to the success of the customers automation journey. You will need to be a clear thinker, articulate, strong in analysis and with a depth of experience to know what Intelligent Automation (and process reengineering) can bring to the customer.
Responsibilities:
The role will focus on the following areas:
• Lead the Process Discovery on client engagements for Intelligent automation - including identification of automation candidates, process analysis and reengineering and prepare business case
• Presentation of Discovery findings and recommendations to C-Level stakeholders.
• Develop Process Design Specifications for automation – capturing As-Is, To-Be.
• Ability to work with the development team to identify low level solution details, guiding technical staff to finalise a workable solution design through to final outcome.
• Process modelling and analysis, identifying bottlenecks and business improvement opportunities.
• Operate as trusted adviser to our customers and building long term client relationships.
• Support QA and testing – developing Test Plans, Test cases.
• Working with customers to align on delivery lifecycle and methods.
• Analyse business challenges and develop technical high impact solutions.
• Project management of design, discovery, design, estimating and ongoing delivery when required.
About you
Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will have skills and experience in the some of the areas listed below:
• Ideally 5+ years of industry experience across finance operations, supply chain, logistics and distribution.
• Deep knowledge of finance processes and systems (AP, AR, FP&A etc.) and ERP systems (highly desirable).
• Strong consulting experience – either internal or external, working closely with CFO’s and other business personas
• Strong knowledge of intelligent automation – the concepts, capabilities and ideally hands on experience with RPA, Intelligent Document Processing and reporting tools.
• A proven ability to lead, guide and mentor technical team members, both onshore and offshore.
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
• Experience in the use of process analysis tools (e.g. Signavio, Blueworks, Promapp) and task capture tools.
• Hands on with PowerBI or equivalent
• Strong project management skills across Agile and Waterfall (highly regarded)
Qualifications required.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business/Commerce or equivalent
• Certifications in relevant automation products
• Qualification in business improvement methods, e.g. Lean six sigma and / or other equivalent
• Qualifications in scrum and agile practices
Salary: $130,000 + Superannuation
