Business Analyst - Risk

As BOQ Group continues on it’s multi year risk transformation journey the need has arisen for two Business BA’s to join on initial 12 month max term contracts. The role supports the Operational Risk Partner in delivering the Risk Profiling and Control Environment stream within the wider program, and develops key Operational Risk Frameworks to ensure CPS230 compliance across BOQ.

The key skills required to be successful in this role include stakeholder engagement, risk and control process development, documentation, training, communication, reporting, and monitoring. These skills will be necessary to facilitate workshops and develop and deliver the appropriate training and communication documents.

These roles will play a crucial role in uplifting the risk and control process Enterprise Wide. The key stakeholders include the Operational Risk Team, the 3LOD Risk Community, and the General Manager population and key Business Leaders.

We are ideally looking for people who have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with prior risk and control experience within the banking industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful insights and communicate those insight effectively will be critical in this role.

These are 12 month roles and therefore we will be looking for people who have worked in similar fast paced, dynamic environments and for people that are quickly able to identify their relevant stakeholders and establish strong working relationships.
