One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Business Analyst to join a talented team. You will be responsible for providing high level analytical support of the departments enhanced security systems and associated information systems used by the Department’s security functions in Australia and overseas. The Successful Business Analyst will be offered an initial 12 month contract with a 2 year extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for the below:
- Manage requirements across Security projects.
- Liaise with, provide advice, and respond appropriately to stakeholders on matters that relate to project requirements.
- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with implementation of projects by undertaking system design and specification, including analysis of business processes.
The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:
- Evaluate proposed system solutions in close liaison with the program to ensure delivery of solutions is consistent with the department’s capability expectations.
- Review and analyse business processes, re-engineer as necessary to improve efficiency, effectiveness and/or usability using strategic analysis techniques and process models.
- Liaise with internal subject matter experts to assist in the design of functional solutions to effectively meet business requirement.
- Analyse data relationships and dependencies, business and service delivery processes and communication need regarding existing capability and emerging needs.
