Our Archerfield Branch has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced sales professional to join the team. To hit the ground running you'll bring with your passion for hunting, proven experience in our industry, particularly Bearings and Power Transmission and a commitment to customer service and drive for results to grow your territory.
With the full support of the Branch Manager and Internal Sales team, your primary objective is to represent Applied by proactively promoting and selling the full range of products and services marketed by Applied.
Here's a bit about this integral role:
- drive a proactive B2B/B2C sales call plan and activity process reported through our CRM program
- maximise sales/profit opportunities by calling on existing and new customers
- establish and maintain strong customer rapport by understanding their needs and requirements
- provide regular updates on current prospects, lost sales and market information to Branch Manager and or State Manager
- coordinate and participate in joint calls with suppliers and internal specialists
- provide accurate information to internal branch staff and provide additional assistance as required
- attend to after hour calls and callouts as required
Here's a bit about you:
You'll have a solid grounding in our industry or similar. You'll also possess the following:
- proven experience in solution selling Industrial Products, particularly Bearings and Power Transmissions
- proven ability to establish and achieve company sales targets
- proven ability in Territory planning
- proven ability to problem solve and deliver value propositions
- demonstrated direct B2B, B2C sales experience
- passion and drive to develop new relationships and win new business
- exceptional time management skills
- ability to develop call plans and sales strategies
- strong work ethic and willingness to put in the extra effort
- excellent presentation and communication skills
- commitment to continually develop technical proficiency
