About the Role
This role will work closely with the Project leads as well as other technology, marketing, and business stakeholders. The Business Analyst will engage with end users and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse the requirements of their work, demonstrating Agile behaviours that emphasizes collaboration, delivery, reflection, and improvement.
This is a 12 months Fixed Term Contract- Full Time Opportunity!
How you’ll make an impact
- Collaborate with and key stakeholders to understand their wants and needs and define requirements.
- Support requirement gathering workshops and interviews with different parts of the business.
- Support user scenarios, and the ability to design detailed processes across different channels and touchpoints through user journey mapping.
- Support in creating clear and unambiguous user stories and functional specifications which will be used for scoping and technology implementation.
- Document business rules and acceptance criteria.
- Support project leaders to determine feasibility, effort estimates and technical constraints.
- Support project managers, vendors, and other team members to support and unblock delivery during project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams in remote and on-site environments during design, development, testing sprints. Support in Presentation and business case.
- Create functional documentation and ‘how to’ user guides and current / future state process documents.
- Conduct problem analysis and option analysis & prepare business case presentation.
- Project status reporting and support with collection and manipulation of business data.
What you’ll bring to Honda
- Minimum 3 years’ cross-functional experience in a Business or Digital Delivery environment working as a Business Analyst.
- Well-developed knowledge of documentation and management practices.
- Experience in shaping priorities and managing different skills within a team.
- Familiarize with all aspects of business analysis and agile delivery best practice.
- Ability to effectively context switch on tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and where required work well under pressure.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to explain complex and/or technical concepts to different audiences, from executives and business stakeholders to project managers and technical teams.
- Strong Analytical & Presentation skills
- Good Communications skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of key technologies and IT architecture such as ERP, CRM, enterprise CMS (Sitecore preferable), Salesforce CRM, API, and integrations (Azure preferable) would be an added advantage.
- Experience in the use of JIRA for managing backlogs and driving reporting would be an added advantage.
