Business Analytics & Insights Manager

Lead the charge in building our analytics and insights capability as we continue to expand our local footprint at Daiichi Sakyo Australia.

Your strategic contributions will be instrumental in driving company performance and enhancing customer and patient experiences. 

Your Day to Day Adventure:

As the Analytics and Insights Manager, you'll be at the forefront of shaping business strategies, guiding brand and market decisions through insightful data analysis. Your role will involve analysing both market and customer data to extract meaningful insights. You'll develop predictive models, create measurement tools, and leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance our data analytics capabilities.

Reporting directly to the New Product Planning & Strategy Lead, you'll dive into a dynamic role where you'll leverage your analytical prowess to drive strategic decisions. Your expertise in data analysis and visualisation tools will be key as you explore complex datasets, identify market patterns, and provide insights that enhance customer and patient experiences. You'll work closely with brand teams and business partners, as well as team and Company leaders, contributing to the overall success of Daiichi Sankyo Australia.

You'll play a vital role in shaping market analytics and insights excellence through:

• Leading the analysis of internal and external data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support brand and market decisions for evidence-driven decision-making.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Utilising data visualisation tools to present complex data in a clear and concise manner for easy understanding.
• Providing data-driven recommendations to enhance product positioning and customer engagement.
• Tracking and measuring the performance of marketing campaigns and providing insights for improvement.
• Supporting strategic planning processes by providing insights on market trends, competitor analysis, and business opportunities.
• Contributing data to formulate key account planning initiatives to drive business growth and enhance customer engagement.

About You:

• Degree qualified in Business, Analytics, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven track record of working in data analytics within the healthcare, pharma, or medical industries.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics tools and CRM systems.
• Experience in building new therapy areas, new businesses, or new departments is advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
• Ability to interpret health data types and turn data into meaningful insights for non-data stakeholders.
• Experience in project management and leading analytics projects.
• Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environments and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
• Resilience, tenacity, authenticity, and an entrepreneurial mindset to be able to thrive in our fast paced, start-up environment.
• High learning agility.
