Business and Analytics Specialist (BAS) supports the effective operations of the Business Development Managers (BDMs) including creating information resources, as a business, data and IP analyst.You will work independently, under guidance, or alongside Business Development Managers (BDMs), supporting their efforts across various UOW faculties and entities. Collaborating with teams across the university, including iAccelerate, Research Services Office, contracts and grants teams, Faculty Research Operations, Legal Services, and other units, you'll contribute to achieving positive and timely outcomesYour responsibilities will include assisting in the identification and development of research and commercialisation opportunities for UOW. Additionally, you will be proficient in various technology transfer and business support activities within the unit, including the agreements managed by the unit and student IP Deeds, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.To be successful you will enjoy working in a complex and fluid business environment and be able to work independently whilst contributing to a high functioning team. You will have well developed communication skills with the ability to write reports, provide explanations and collate and analyse complex or partial information and present appropriately for a specified audience, including experience in
Business and market analysis and report preparation. You will be able to combine excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus with a high level of attention to detail, particularly in relation to university processes and policies and to contractual terms.
