THE OPPORTUNITY
CSR have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Residential Sales team in Scoresby managing the Melbourne West territory.
Reporting to the Residential Sales Manager, your main responsibility will be to execute the Construction Systems (Hebel, Cemintel and AFS) strategy in the residential-detached and multi-residential area.
This position will be perfect for a sales professional who is driven, loves the chase of sales to grow market share and is strategic with their approach to customers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Achieve budgeted sales revenue, ASP, volumes and gross margin targets.
- Execute sales & marketing plans for the segment.
- Management of project tracking, pricing, product knowledge.
- Work closely with key Resellers and Contractors to convert sales opportunities.
- Identify and target suitable opportunities within the multi-residential, Modular/Prefab and Retirement/Resort Living space.
- Develop and implement growth plans with key customers that result in continuous share growth of customers across the product portfolio.
- Deliver professional presentations, engage in negotiation strategies, whilst drawing on other parts of the business to convert the business.
About you:
- Demonstrated presence and experience to build rapport with Customers and possess commercial acumen to see the merits of major opportunities and understand how to develop and negotiate them.
- Have a well-developed knowledge of the market segments, competitors, channels and be able to identify and secure target opportunities and key contacts.
- A personality that is conducive to developing productive partnerships with individuals and groups across the business. A natural flair for interpreting technical elements of products and provide support to customers and contractors.
