Job Overview: As the Business Development Manager for South Australia and Western Australia, you will be responsible for expanding Menicon's market presence, building strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth in the region. You will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic Business Development plans to penetrate the SA and WA markets and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and prioritize key accounts and market segments for targeted sales efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, reports, and forecasts to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for business expansion and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of success in Business Development, sales, or account management, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of the SA and WA markets, including key players, competitors, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving business growth and achieving targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
