Karmot are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join our team in Sydney.
Karmot is an established, leading supplier of high-quality automotive workshop lifting equipment and tools. Recently under new ownership, this is a great time to join our growing business as we look to expand our business in NSW & nationally. Our business is now part of a group of companies with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Singapore & the UK.
The Role:
The job role will include the development of new business while also building upon existing relations with our extensive national client base. Whilst the role will focus on NSW, there are also opportunities to work with customers interstate. The successful applicant will work together with our small, experienced team & supportive management.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining & enhancing existing reseller networks
- Visiting end users to promote Karmot brands & products
- Generating sales in specialist sections of the industry.
- Providing quotations and technical feedback when required.
- New Business Development.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desired. Ideally within the automotive industry, with a focus on workshop equipment
- Ability to self-manage and plan working week
- Use of own initiative
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Assist with varying tasks as the small team requires
- Actively promote and provide consistent high-quality service to our customers
