Business Development Manager

Georgiou is seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager join our high-performing NSW team. You'll play a vital role in our ongoing east coast expansion, uncovering exciting opportunities and forging strong client partnerships.
Reporting to the national Head of Strategy and Growth, this newly created role will be responsible for:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities - Become a lead hunter, finding and help pinpoint projects/opportunities that leverage our strengths and contribute to our growth goals.
Building strong client relationships - You'll be the face of Georgiou, fostering trust and collaboration with key clients and consultants.
Market research and strategic insights - Sharpen your analytical skills, providing valuable insights to fuel informed decision-making.
Representing Georgiou with our values of Care, Integrity and Excellence - Be our champion at industry events and client meetings, showcasing our capabilities.
Collaborate to win - Partner with our talented team to develop winning bid strategies and secure project success.
What you're good at:
Apart from having a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, engineering, or a related field. You will bring:
A demonstrably successful track record in Business Development, market research, or competitive analysis within the construction, industrial or relevant sector.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Proficiency in CRM systems, market research software, and data analysis tools
In-depth knowledge and network in the civil construction industry is a strong plus!
