Our client is a global leader in providing sustainable packaging solutions, operating in 37 countries with 116 locations worldwide. With a commitment to sustainability and innovation, they are shaping the future of food and beverage packaging.
In Australia, the business operates two divisions, one manufacturing fibre packaging products mainly for the foodservice market, and the other sourcing and distributing a range of bespoke third-party solutions into FMCG and QSR customers.
To support the achievement of its ambitious growth targets, the business is seeking two Business Development Managers, one for each division of the business.
Your Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving growth in existing accounts and actively hunting and closing new business opportunities.
You will contribute to the company's growth journey by delivering against revenue and profit targets for key customers. You will achieve this by building and maintaining collaborative relationships and developing and executing mutually beneficial joint business plans.
You will further grow the business by identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and executing against new business opportunities, working with the broader organization to engage prospects impactfully and convert them.
One role will be primarily based in Winston Hill, and the other in Windsor. The business is committed to flexible working so both roles will be hybrid.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Quality experience in account management and Business Development roles, with a demonstrable track record of growing existing customers and developing new business, is essential.
- Previous experience in the packaging industry is highly desirable to bring credibility and expertise to your interactions with new and existing customers
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
- Highly organized, capable of driving and leading a strategic approach to new Business Development
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how to create mutual value
- Highly collaborative and influential, able to take others on the journey
