This leading global logistics and transportation company offering comprehensive freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management solutions is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. This company is looking for a proactive and proven winner of new business with a network or pipeline within Air freight specifically.Key Responsibilities:
- Completing minimum expectation of sales calls per week
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of business
- Maintaining up to date CRM and administrative tasks
- Collaborating with Operations for rates and quotes that can be offered
- Attending client-sites regularly to closely understand client needs
- Experience in Air freight processes is required
- A strong network/pipeline that can be leveraged will be highly regarded
- Willingness to be on the road regularly for client meetings
- Strong negotiation skills and solution orientated sales approach
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
- Competitive salary – up to $120,000 + Super
