Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and sales for commercial scale solar projects, 40kW and above. You will have a strong background in the solar and or BESS industry, with a proven background in building strong relationships and winning business. You will communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis in order to explain the company's services and value proposition, which will in turn create more project work for the project delivery team. Educate clients on available incentives, rebates, and financing options to facilitate decision-making and close new business.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years experience in the large scale solar or battery storage industry
- A high level of verbal and written communication skills
- 3+ years experience in a customer-facing environment
- Ability to build rapport and develop strong working relationships
- Excellent technical knowledge of commercial scale solar projects
- Experience in a Business Development role in the solar industry
