We are currently looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth initiatives in the agriculture animal nutrition sector. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving sales to achieve company targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and understand the competitive landscape. Develop and implement effective business strategies to capture new markets and expand existing ones
- Sales & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, distributors, and industry partners. Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Business Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and new market entry strategies
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term loyalty
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives to senior management. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in Business Development, sales, or marketing within the agriculture or animal nutrition industry
- Strong understanding of animal nutrition products and their applications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic plans
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel (Metro and Regional Victoria) as needed to meet with customers
